Sentinel Swim Team Region Results

Our Sentinel Swim Team competed at the region championship last weekend. The boys team placed 1st and brought home the region championship trophy! Girls placed 3rd overall out of the 6 teams in our region. 
 
For the girls:
Chalisse Rich (Senior) placed 1st in the 50 freestyle, 100 breaststroke and 200 medley relay. Chalisse won the female high point swimmer of the meet because of her incredible swims and scored the most points of any girl at the meet!
Gennovah Hansen (Senior) placed 1st in the 200 IM ,100 freestyle and 200 medley relay. 
Also in the 1st place 200 medley relay were Madison Paulsen (Junior) and Capreis Conradi (Freshman).
 
For the boys:
Carter Schwebach (Senior) set a new school record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:07.82.
Steven Collins (Junior) set a new school record in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:03.23.
Huckleberry Burton (Sophomore), Carter Schwebach, Steven Collins and Sam Weller (Senior) set a new school record in the boys 200 medley relay with a time of 1:41.61.
 
The swim team will next compete at the 6A State Championship swim meet on February 17th and 18th at BYU.
