We know that consistent, on-time attendance is the first and most critical step toward academic success. To celebrate and motivate students who make this vital commitment every day, we have launched the Weekly Drawings for Good Attendance program—and the results are already incredible!
Students are noticing the change, literally racing to class to ensure they qualify. As one teacher noted, a student was running to class just to be eligible for a prize, showing the power of motivation!
How the Program Works:

The Goal: We want to recognize students for good attendance and encourage punctuality.

The Prizes: We have a variety of cool prizes, including highly sought-after vinyl records, sports cards, and popular collectibles. The display case in the Commons is frequently updated and draws students who are "coveting things that are in there."
How to Qualify and Win:

Be Present & Punctual: You must have NO tardies or absences for the entire previous week.

Verify: Every Monday at lunch, fill out a drawing slip and get it stamped by an administrator, verifying your good attendance.

Drawings: Names are drawn each week. If you win, you get to choose any prize from the display case!
The Cumulative Advantage:
The best part? If you don't win, your slip STAYS IN THE BOX for future drawings. This means the better your attendance is week after week, the higher your probability of winning becomes!
We've already seen students—including one who overcame health challenges to attend all classes on time—earn their slip and be "absolutely elated."
