Sentinels Make the News! MRHS Students Shine a Light on Season of Scarlet

This morning, Mountain Ridge High School's incredible Season of Scarlet efforts were featured on Good Day Utah! The segment highlights the dedication of our students as they raise funds for the Be Brave Baylee Foundation, which supports people in burn units.

The story captures the unique ways our Sentinels are standing watch and raising money, from collecting funds at school to doing odd jobs in the community.

As junior Brynlee Dalton shared, "It's so important to know that giving is a part of our society, and there's more to life than just looking at your own life, especially during this December season."

The impact of every contribution was emphasized by junior Chase Barlow: "Every donation matters. All these little donations... they help these families and these burn survivors out so much."

Senior Sofia Duran beautifully captured the personal fulfillment of the work: "The special part for me is forgetting about myself while I'm out there."

We are incredibly proud of our students for representing the true spirit of the Sentinel community. Let's show the community what we can do!
