Our Drawing 1 students officially wrapped up Semester 1 with two major creative marathons: The Comic Project and The Graffiti Project.
For the Comic Project, students took on the roles of writer, illustrator, and character designer. They developed original characters and plotlines, mastering the complex art of panel formatting to bring their stories to life.
Meanwhile, The Graffiti Project was a lesson in layering and patience. Working every Friday, students followed a meticulous process:

Splashing watered-down paint backgrounds based on a random color scheme.

Designing custom graffiti text.

Adding precision stencil work.

Incorporating a final "disaster" element of their choice.
