Being named Officer of the Year is a testament to his professionalism, his elite skills, and the specialized care he brings to his role at Mountain Ridge.
An SRO's job is a unique balance of law enforcement, mentoring, and protection. Detective Askerlund doesn't just keep our building secure; he builds relationships, earns the trust of our students, and embodies the Sentinel STRONG spirit in everything he does.
Detective Askerlund is more than a uniform at our school; he is a vital part of our faculty and a role model for our students. We are incredibly lucky to have the city's best protecting the Ridge.
