Physics and calculus aren't just equations on a whiteboard—they are the literal blueprints for adrenaline-pumping amusement park rides and humanity’s journey into the cosmos.
This week, members of our AP Calculus classes, AP Physics classes, and the Calc Squad took their learning on the road for an unforgettable educational expedition to Florida! The trip gave our advanced STEM students a firsthand look at how complex mathematical and physical theories are applied in the real world.
From analyzing the structural engineering and g-forces of world-class theme park rides to standing on the historic grounds of the Kennedy Space Center, our Sentinels got to see exactly where their classroom dedication can take them.
Check out our students posing proudly in front of the Space Center, representing Mountain Ridge High School at the epicenter of space travel! We are so proud of these students for pushing the boundaries of their education and exploring the infinite possibilities a future in STEM has to offer.
