Last week, our elite Super Smash Bros. Esports Team did the unthinkable, dominating their national semifinal matchup to punch their ticket to the grandest stage in high school gaming: The PlayVS Cup National Championship.
What is the PlayVS Cup?
This isn't just any local tournament. The PlayVS Cup is the ultimate, exclusive national arena where only the "best of the best" in the country are invited. To even qualify for a spot, a high school team must place first overall in a full-season league. Our Sentinels did exactly that, proving they are the top team in the state, and now they are just one victory away from being crowned the best team in the entire United States.
How to Watch & Support Tomorrow!
The battle for the national crown happens tomorrow, Thursday, June 4th, at 1:30 PM MST. We need the entire Sentinel Nation—students, parents, faculty, and alumni—tuning in to bring the noise in the chat and back our players as they play for history.
