During halftime at our home football game, Mountain Ridge High School partner RC Willey recognized automotive instructor Brendon McDonald with the RC Willey Extra Mile Award. ❤️🤍🩶
The award honors standout members of our faculty who go above and beyond to ensure student achievement, professional excellence, and positive culture at The Ridge. Mr. McDonald has continually strengthened our Automotive Program by connecting classroom technical instruction with real-world career paths and industry certifications.

"RC Willey would like to recognize a standout member of the Mountain Ridge community. Here tonight to receive the RC Willey Extra Mile Award is Brendon McDonald.
McDonald is a dedicated student-centered teacher who has made a tremendous impact on his school's automotive program. He has strengthened the program while creating meaningful opportunities for his students. Mr. McDonald goes above and beyond to support his students, making sure they have the guidance, skills, and encouragement they need both in the classroom and as they prepare for future careers.
A lifelong learner himself, Mr. McDonald continues to invest in his own professional development and has earned multiple certifications to expand his expertise.
