Behind every clean hallway, prepped athletic stadium, and spotless facility at Mountain Ridge High School is a team working tirelessly to keep our school safe, healthy, and ready for greatness. Yesterday marked National Custodian Day, and we are proud to recognize our Head Custodian, Kevan Sprague, alongside our entire MRHS custodial crew.
Research consistently links clean school environments with improved student health, lower absenteeism, and stronger academic outcomes. Mr. Sprague and his team set the standard every single day. Their work extends far beyond maintaining our building—they protect our school culture and ensure every Sentinel has a safe space to learn, perform, and compete.
When you see Mr. Sprague or any member of our custodial team in the halls, please take a moment to thank them. Let them know how much we appreciate their hard work and dedication to Mountain Ridge High School.
Thank you to Kevan and the entire MRHS custodial team for making Sentinel Nation shine!
