Mountain Ridge High School is excited to announce Utah College Application Week (UCAW), taking place on Tuesday, October 6, and Wednesday, October 7.
During this two-day event, our MRHS Counseling Department will call all seniors down to the Tech Atrium during their scheduled Language Arts classes to participate in specialized presentations regarding senior year milestones and post-secondary transition planning.
Hands-On Support from College Representatives
Admissions and financial aid representatives from colleges and universities throughout Utah will be on campus to provide direct, one-on-one assistance to our senior class.
During their assigned session, seniors will receive hands-on help with:
-
College Applications: Navigating and completing admissions applications for Utah institutions.
-
Parchment Account Setup: Establishing digital accounts to streamline high school transcript requests and delivery.
-
FSA ID Creation: Creating Federal Student Aid logins to ensure students and families are fully prepared to complete the FAFSA.
-
Institutional Q&A: Asking specific questions about academic programs, scholarships, housing, and campus life.
Empowering Student Pathways
Utah College Application Week ensures every student receives dedicated time, tools, and professional guidance to explore higher education opportunities and complete essential application tasks before graduation deadlines.
Mountain Ridge High School extends its appreciation to our counseling staff and visiting college partners for providing this crucial support to our senior class.
