All seniors make sure to change your Parchment Account to a personal email address.  Don't forget to order your final transcripts after June 19th to be sent to your College or University. (University of Utah and Southern Utah University will place your account on hold with out your final transcript with graduation date.) Your my.jordandistrict.org email will be deactivated on July 1st and you will loose access to your parchment account if not changed to a personal email account.** Click here for more information.

Salt Lake Community College is now requiring that all students taking concurrent enrollment classes complete an academic plan through the MyCE portal. If you are planning to take concurrent enrollment next year, please follow the instructions that can be found in this document: https://tinyurl.com/mry3k65n to complete this plan.

We want to thank the nearly 450 students and faculty who entered their work in the 2025 MRHS Art Show. We were able to select and display over 250 artworks. This was our largest show to date, and we are blown away by the creativity of our school community. Thank you to everyone who contributed, and congratulations to all who won awards!

Congratulations to Noah Booker, Landon Visser and Tate Johnson who took 3rd place in the Utah State University Physics Quiz Bowl at Lagoon on May 9th!

Students in Miss Blue's Drawing 1 Class finished their Friday Graffiti projects this past month, and they turned out so fun! Students were given a color scheme, splashed watered down paint onto a paper, added graffiti text of a random word that was pulled out of a bag, added a stencil, and then had to do a random task to their project to finish it all off. You can check these out in the Blue Hallway.

Incoming 9th graders this fall through 12th grade girls interested in playing volleyball this fall...we begin summer workouts/open gyms on June 9th, registration can be done through schoolwindow or in the main office. Tryouts will be on July 28th.

We are excited to offer two new Concurrent Enrollment opportunities at Mountain Ridge High School. All students, including incoming Sophomores, who are considering a career in education can now register for EDU 1010 and EDU 2140.
In EDU 1010, we explore the basics of becoming a teacher. We learn about various teaching philosophies, teacher impact on student life, and learn the basics of classroom management and student engagement.
In 2140, we spend our time learning how to design quality lessons by focusing on specific learning goals and implementing the newest technology.
The courses will provide opportunities to work with real students at the grade level that you are most interested in teaching. Whether you are wanting to work with early elementary students or high school students, these courses will work to fulfill your specific interest.
If you are thinking about pursuing a career in teaching, get a head start and earn college credit while you are at it.
